Casey Pyron used her bat and arm to help Dan River earn a 2-1 victory over Cave Spring in the Group AA Softball Semifinals. The Wildcats advance to the Championship Game tomorrow at 1 pm versus Loudoun Valley, a 2-0 winner over Poquoson. Pyron tossed a one-hitter, allowing just a two-out double in the first and contributed at the plate with an RBI double. She allowed one unearned run, struck out four and did not walk a batter. |
