You wouldn't be impressed by her at first sight, you probably wouldn't be impressed when looking at her box scores, but anyone that has seen Jenny Flynn play would agree that this humble guard out of South Sioux City is something special on a basketball court. Jenny plays with the maturity of a college player, brings 100% to every game and will stop at nothing to get her team the victory.

Although she only stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, she plays as big as anyone and everyone on the court. In the Nike 2000 Tournament of Champions against a strong Berkeley team, Flynn put on an absolute clinic, scoring 16 points, 5 steals, 6 assists and pulling down an impressive 11 rebounds. Throughout the tournament, Jenny has stunned everyone with her incredible playmaking and clutch shooting.

Jenny's mere presence on the court, with her extremely high basketball IQ and superb instincts, will help South Sioux City remain the team to beat in Nebraska, and one of the premier high schools in the nation. Along with star forward Katie Robinette, South Sioux City has reached the top of USA Today’s rankings and plans to stay there for the length of the season.

There will be many major Division 1 universities recruiting Jenny, but they must wait… because Jenny is only a sophomore. Flynn received Nebraska All State honors last year as a Point Guard. Now, basketball is not a new thing to the Flynn family. Jenny's father, Kelly, is the coach of South Sioux City, and both of her brothers play, one of whom is playing at the collegiate level. Jenny also has a sister who plays basketball. Jenny has a very bright future in the sport.

Anyone who has ever seen her play would agree that Jenny can play on any court, at any level. Despite any possible critics Jenny may have about her size, she will be able to quiet them all with her enormous heart and intensity which will take her a very long way.
