February 5, 2003: Danny Prentice, a four year starter at Oakton High School Varsity Football, has signed with University of Virginia. Danny had more than 130 tackles as a senior, including 5 sacks and an interception. Danny was instrumental in helping his team get to the VHSL Virginia State Championship game, AAA Division 6.

• Washington Post first-team All-Met linebacker, senior year.

• Two-time first team All-Northern Region and Concorde District linebacker.
• Fairfax Sun Gazette Defensive Player of the Year and first team Sun Gazette all-area linebacker in his junior and senior years.
